Okay.. who is Megan Heigh?

Background:

Megan is an unseasoned designer based in Vancouver. With a focus on branding and illustration, she creates designs that reflect her unique passions and talents, her love for the wild, for cozy spaces, and for life’s simple pleasures. She enjoys warm teas, homemade food, cuddling with her pets, hiking, exploring, and losing herself in beautiful stories told through music, novels, and film.

Megan embraces feeling deeply, she loves to cry, to profess her love, and to shout and gnash and push for what she believes in. Fuelled by her explosive strength and determination, she consistently pushes herself past her comfort zone in the pursuit of growth and improvement.

How I approach design and creativity:

I weave tenderness and depth into every design, guided by my love for both the wild and the intimate – the violent ocean and the cozy warmth of home. My inner tenacity, driven by a need to create meaning and contribute to the good, fuels an explosive spark that ignites when I dig deep into what I truly care about. My fire drives me forward, inspiring me to create work that is alive and confident, yet also heartfelt and meaningful.

As a branding student, I’ve developed several high-achieving projects, including award-winning packaging. This experience with brand identity, campaign, Illustration, and ad design has strengthened my skills and deepened the connection between myself and my work.
